Welcome to the AJW website. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the basis upon which we provide commercial property and grounds maintenance services across County Durham, Yorkshire, and the North East.

1. General Overview
By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. AJW provides professional maintenance services exclusively to commercial clients (B2B). We do not currently offer services to domestic residential consumers through this platform.

2. Service Area
Our primary service regions include, but are not limited to:

• County Durham: Durham City, Darlington, Stockton-on-Tees.

• Yorkshire: North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, and East Riding.

• The North East: Newcastle, Sunderland, and Middlesbrough.

Requests for services outside these areas are subject to travel surcharges and availability.

3. Provision of Services
All services, including grounds maintenance (mowing, hedging, weed control) and commercial property repairs, are subject to:

• Site Surveys: An initial site assessment may be required before a formal quote is issued.

• Service Agreements: For recurring maintenance, a separate Service Level Agreement (SLA) will be signed by both parties.

• Weather Conditions: Grounds maintenance is subject to weather suitability. AJW reserves the right to reschedule tasks if conditions (e.g., heavy rain, frost) would result in a sub-standard finish or health and safety risks.
   

4. Quotations and Payments

• Quotes: All quotes provided via the website or email are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

• Pricing: Prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.

• Payment Terms: Standard payment terms are 30 days from the date of invoice for account holders, unless otherwise negotiated in your specific contract.
   

5. Client Obligations
To ensure the safe and efficient delivery of our services, the client must:

• Provide safe access to the site at the agreed-upon times.

• Ensure the work area is free from obstructions and hazardous materials not previously disclosed.

• Provide a primary point of contact for the duration of the works.
   

6. Liability and Insurance
AJW maintains full Public Liability Insurance and Employers' Liability Insurance suitable for commercial industrial sites.

• We are not liable for pre-existing defects in property or land.

• Any claims regarding the quality of work must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of completion of the specific task.
   

7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including images of our fleet, logos, and text—is the property of AJW. Unauthorised use or reproduction of these materials is strictly prohibited.

8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
